Red Hot Pad, Oven Mitt and Dish towel with Iron on Santa Belt added

I sometimes (ok always) find something I love and then I carry that theme to several different projects!  Santa’s Belt is one of those!  You may remember this Santa Belt Bucket.  Let’s not forget my Santa Placemats!  Those are still one of my favorite projects!  I love how those turned out!  Easy gifting with these Santa Gift Bags and Santa Gift Wrap and how fun are these fruit cup Santa snacks?

It’s only natural that I utilize these awesome red oven mitts, dish towels and hot pad from the dollar store!  Hey-o, talk about inexpensive gift ideas, right?!

Christmas Oven Mitt Supplies:

I used my 6 x 7 EasyPress 2 for this project and the corresponding 8 x 10 EasyPress Mat.

You can find the cut file I used below!  It’s free to download if you are a member of my email community!  If you aren’t don’t worry, you can sign up and grab the free download!

I started out by Uploading the SVG into Cricut Design Space.  Next, I ungrouped the belt and buckle and resized the belt appropriately for my towel, mitt and hot pad.  Then I resized the buckle accordingly.

Click Make it and set your Materials appropriately.  You can find more information on Iron on in general here and Specific directions on cutting Iron on with your Cricut here.

Once cut and weeded I am ready to apply. I am using my EasyPress 2.  You can also use your iron!  There are detailed instructions for both methods on my How to Apply Iron on tutorial.

I checked the EasyPress recommended settings and set my EP2 and then pressed the black belt and then the gold buckle.
