Sweet, salty, crunchy, gooey, chocolatey…basically, all of my favorite things in one tiny bite! These S’more Pretzel Bites take everything you love about classic s’mores and turn them into an easy, bite-sized treat that you can make right in your kitchen.

And if you have been around here for a while, you already know that I have a thing for pretzel bites. I have made them for holidays, sports, parties, and pretty much any excuse I can come up with. There is just something about that sweet-and-salty combination that gets me every single time.
These s’mores-inspired pretzel bites might just be one of my favorites yet.
S’mores + Pretzels = YES
There is no campfire required for this recipe. No roasting sticks. No trying to keep a marshmallow from catching on fire while simultaneously pretending you totally meant to do that.
Instead, we are taking the classic s’mores ingredients and sandwiching them between two crunchy snap pretzels.

You get a fluffy marshmallow center, a coating of milk chocolate, and a sprinkling of graham cracker crumbs on top. And then there is that salty pretzel crunch holding it all together.
It is basically a s’more with better manners. 😉
I have made quite a few variations of pretzel bites over the years, including my Eggs & Toast Pretzel Bites and festive pretzel bites for baseball and basketball. The fun thing about this style of treat is that once you have the basic idea down, there are SO many ways to change them up.

Ingredients for S’more Pretzel Bites
You only need four main ingredients to make these little treats:

Snap Pretzels
You will need 96 snap pretzels. These are the square-shaped pretzels with the little openings in the center. They work especially well because they give you a sturdy base and top for your pretzel bites.
Jumbo Marshmallows
The recipe calls for 24 jumbo marshmallows, cut in half. Cutting them in half gives you just the right amount of marshmallow for each bite.
Milk Chocolate Chips
You will need 12 ounces of milk chocolate chips for dipping. You can melt the chocolate in the microwave in short intervals, stirring between each one.
Graham Crackers
Two graham cracker sheets are crushed into crumbs and sprinkled over the chocolate while it is still wet.
And that’s it! Four ingredients and a little bit of assembly are all standing between you and a plate full of s’mores goodness.

How to Make S’more Pretzel Bites
Step 1: Prepare Your Baking Sheet
Start by lining a large baking sheet with parchment paper and preheating your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
The parchment is important here because it gives you a nice nonstick surface for both the marshmallow and chocolate.
Step 2: Build the Pretzel Bites
Place 48 snap pretzels onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.
Add one half of a jumbo marshmallow to each pretzel.

Step 3: Bake the Marshmallows
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 4–5 minutes.
You are not trying to completely toast the marshmallows here. You just want them to start getting soft and fluffy.
Keep an eye on them because marshmallows can go from “perfectly fluffy” to “whoops!” pretty quickly. The recipe notes that they will begin to fluff up when they are ready.
Step 4: Add the Top Pretzel
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the marshmallows to cool slightly.
Then place another snap pretzel on top of each marshmallow. If the marshmallows have shifted or spread a little, simply separate them as needed before adding the top pretzel.

You now have the cutest little pretzel sandwiches!
Dip Them in Chocolate
Now for the part where these really start looking like s’mores.
Place your milk chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl and heat them in 30-second increments, stirring well after each interval.
Continue until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
Dip each pretzel bite into the melted chocolate, coating about half of the bite.

Let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl before placing the pretzel bite back onto your parchment-lined baking sheet.
Don’t Forget the Graham Cracker Crumbs!
While the chocolate is still melted, quickly sprinkle the chocolate-coated portion with your crushed graham cracker crumbs.

This is the little detail that really makes these taste and look like s’mores.
And don’t wait too long to add them! Once that chocolate starts setting up, your graham cracker crumbs are going to have a much harder time sticking.
Chill and Let Them Set
Once all of your pretzel bites have been dipped and sprinkled, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about one hour, or until the chocolate is completely set.

Then comes the hardest part of the recipe:
Try not to eat them all immediately.
Good luck with that.

Tips for Making S’more Pretzel Bites
Watch the Marshmallows
The marshmallows only need a few minutes in the oven. You want them to become soft and fluffy without completely melting away.
Don’t Skip the Parchment
Parchment paper makes cleanup much easier and gives you a good surface for the chocolate-coated pretzel bites to set on.
Melt the Chocolate Slowly
Thirty-second intervals are your friend. Stir well between each heating session to help the chocolate melt evenly.
Add the Graham Cracker Crumbs Right Away
Have your graham cracker crumbs ready before you start dipping. Once each bite is coated in chocolate, sprinkle it immediately so the crumbs stick.
Make Sure You Have Enough Pretzels
You will need two pretzels per bite, so for 48 pretzel bites, you’ll need 96 pretzels. It sounds obvious, but there is nothing worse than getting halfway through a recipe and realizing you are short on one of the main ingredients!
Can I Make These Ahead of Time?
Absolutely!
These are a great make-ahead treat because the chocolate needs time to set anyway. Once the chocolate has hardened, you can transfer the pretzel bites to an airtight container.
They would be perfect to make earlier in the day before a party, get-together, movie night, or backyard gathering.
When to Serve S’more Pretzel Bites
These are obviously perfect for summer when everyone is craving s’mores, but I wouldn’t stop there.
Think:
- Summer parties
- Backyard cookouts
- Camping-themed parties
- Birthday parties
- Movie nights
- Kids’ sleepovers
- School or team treats
- Holiday dessert trays
- Potlucks
- Any random Tuesday when you need chocolate
Because let’s be honest, you don’t actually need a special occasion for s’mores.
