Today is a fun day today! I am part of a huge group of amazing bloggers who joined forces with Kristen Duke in her Birthday Celebration Week! Over 100 of my talented blogger friends are sharing lots of inexpensive birthday gift ideas and free printables,
Today is my birthday!! As my kids say: I am turning OLD! 32 actually, but to them that is REALLY OLD! So in honor of number 32 I thought I’d share 32 things about me,
Let’s talk a bit of cake today shall we? I made this German Chocolate Cake for Fred for his birthday! I actually made it for him a few weeks after his birthday because that is when I surprised him with some of our friends from Minnesota showing up at our favorite Mexican place on a Friday night!
Oh my! It took me forever to get this wrap up post put together! It was such a fun party and Ryan had a great time! I had as much fun planning it!
OK…these Mickey Mouse cupcakes were really the easiest things to make. I guess you can make them as much work as you want to?! Does that make sense. You can get more elaborate with the icing if you felt the need but I didn’t and I can assure you they were CUTE as they were!
I have to make the boys a birthday banner each year. Why? I don’t know?!? I think they are cute, and fun, and really, really simple decorations that are easy to do and really personal!
Ok so the 12th was his actual birthday but I am behind in posting this because we were having so much fun!
Happy Birthday to my sweet baby boy. I fell in love with you the minute I saw your lip quiver in the OR and my love has grown a million times and again.
Another super cute (and super inexpensive) project to add some Mickey Mouse fun to your party!
Small metal buckets or bins
Small Doll Rods (1/4” or smaller)
Styrofoam balls in 2 sizes (an assortment package at Dollar tree has enough for one centerpiece)
Embellishments (Pinwheels or star stakes etc.)
Gift zig-zag party packaging
Hot glue/Glue Gun
I purchased everything but the doll rods &
I am so in love with these! I know, I am a total dork but they just make drinking regular old lemonade SO. MUCH. BETTER. I am not sure if it is the cute lids,
Would you like a SUPER EASY way to personalize any party, get together or event? Enter Water Bottle Wrappers! I love these things! They are such a simple way to coordinate your theme into a party!
I made the kids some cute personalized drink bottles for Ryan’s Party. From the Invitation I shared yesterday, you can guess most of everything included some aspect of Mickey Mouse. For these guys I used the Waltograph font to add the kids names to the bottles using vinyl.
Ryan’s 2nd Birthday Party theme is Mickey Mouse! One of his favorite characters! I made these simple Mickey Mouse Birthday Invitations in Photoshop Elements 9.
I printed them at Walgreens! Super cute,
When we visited Arizona, I was able to love all over our brand new 2 week old niece while we were there and I was in heaven! I couldn’t come empty handed and miss my opportunity to make some thing GIRLY for her!
This is a post filled with pictures of my kids and not much else. Just putting that out there at the start!
Freddy & I unfortunately are still driving the same rides,
Happy 5th Birthday to my Sweet Boy!
I can hardly believe that 5 whole years have already gone by!
Here’s the day we brought Michael home from the hospital! He was so tiny and smelled soooooo good!
Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! We certainly did! We celebrated Michael’s 5th birthday with a Cars party this weekend!
I made these invites using Photoshop Elements 9.0.
Do you have a watermelon lover in your life? This Easy Watermelon Cake is a huge hit at summer picnics or just because! My secret: It’s made from a box mix and canned frosting!
For a bit of added decoration for the party and to show how the wee one’s head has stayed quite large since birth…I decided to do a Month by Month of his cuteness!
