Chocolate Covered Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats

I am on a rice krispie treat kick my friends!  I forgot how delicious they were and how EASY they are to make.  Think about it, 3 ingredients and your actual work time is simply waiting for something to melt and mixing!  You are also starting off with a clean slate.  You can jazz these guys up a million ways!

Today we have White Chocolate Covered Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats! Strawberry flavored krispie treats that are covered in white chocolate and cut into cute heart shapes! Perfect for your Valentine sweetheart! These are so easy to make and you can add sprinkles to them for the little ones. Everything. Is. Better. With. Sprinkles. {at least in my house anyway!}

Strawberry Rice Krispie Treats

A simple packet of Strawberry flavored Kool-Aid makes these rice krispie treats a perfect color of red and adds that awesome strawberry flavor to the treats!  The marshmallow in the recipe acts as the sweetener!  In order to get a good colored coating on the krispie cereal you will need to increase the amount of marshmallow from regular recipes.  This makes sure the red goodness gets over all the cereal pieces and leaves your hearts bright and cheery!

Strawberry Heart Rice Krispie Treats

Pop these cute treats on a lollipop sticks and you can create yourself a cute rice krispie treat bouquet or centerpiece!  You can find out an easy way to do that by referring to my graduation hat pop bouquet I did for my sister’s graduation party!  So easy but SUPER cute!  Use a cute valentine’s day mug from the dollar store as your container {which I did not!} and add some gift bag filler (also found at the dollar store) and you are set for a delicious decoration!

  1.! Yeah, gonna have to try these! I’m assuming it’s unsweetened Kool Aid, because of what you said about extra marshmallows, correct? My oldest girl loves rice krispie treats! I’ll have to try these for her V-day treat. (She’s 47. I haven’t given her a V-day gift in YEARS! She’ll probably think I’ve slipped a cog in the ol’ noggin!)

  2. My husband LOVES Rice Krispy Treats!! He will eat the whole pan in one sitting! Definitely going to make these!! He’ll be surprised and love them. Thanks for the recipe!!

  3. Hi! me again! Just wanted to tell you that I made these. Where I was shopping didn’t have Strawberry Kool Aid (what’s up with THAT?) so I got cherry. They were GREAT!!!! Can you imagine the different flavors you can make these in? Don’t know if I’d like lime…but, well, you get the idea! So, again, I say, THANK YOU, CHE! You are the best! Dona
