Thanksgiving Soap

You didn’t think I’d let Thanksgiving slip by without a soap did you? Of course not! Same drill as before . I start out with a hand soap that I bought at Wal-Mart for $1.08. I found this great one with a brown pump and it worked great for Thanksgiving! Next, I removed the stickers of the hand soaps. This time I soaked the bottle in warm soapy water and the glue left behind from the stickers scraped off really easily after that. Then I just applied some scrapbooking stickers! Need a great fall meal with minimal work? I have one for you! Literally takes 5 minutes to prep and then you let the slow cooker do all the work and you get to take all the credit! Thanksgiving seems to be the forgotten holiday. We enjoy everything Halloween and push right on to Christmas. I mean, they were putting out Christmas stuff at Hobby Lobby in JULY! Yes, like when it was 2 degrees shy of the face of the sun here, they were decking the halls with boughs of holly. CRAZY. I LOVE Christmas time but I also want to enjoy Thanksgiving and be Thankful! I’ve told you before, we are currently renting a new townhouse. Because I can’t paint and decorate the way I like I am forgoing the option to make a fall wreath with beautiful fabrics that match my décor and accents that are shiny and elegant. I am so excited to share this fabulous recipe with you. I am not sure how I even acquired this recipe but I {heart} it and I am sure you will also. Every time I make it, the cake is a huge hit!
