Welcome to day 5 of the 25 Days of Christmas Series! Today I am sharing a super cute Snowman Ornament! Get the kids involved and let them paint their own faces on their snowmen!

If you followed along with the series last year then you might remember my fingerprint snowman ornament that my oldest helped me with. This year we just made a single snowman using the same supplies!
Supplies Needed:
- clear ornament (I used the flat kind and plastic versus glass)
- fake Styrofoam snow
- Black & Orange Paint/paintbrush
- ribbon or ornament hook for hanging
This couldn’t be easier! Simply start out by painting a snowman face on the ornament. When dry fill with Styrofoam balls.
I still had the bag of Styrofoam balls left over from last year’s ornament, if you can’t find it, you can also use Epsom salt, sea salt, sugar or white rice. {Just note that if you use anything other than the Styrofoam, it will be heavy and you will probably need to glue the lid on so it doesn’t pull off and spill everywhere!)
This guy would be a great gift too for teachers, bus drivers, group leaders or even grandparents!
You can find all the posts for this series by clicking the button below! Also feel free to sign up for email notifications of my posts! You can also find me on Facebook and Twitter!

Cute! I will try this with my kiddos! Thanks! You could also use cotton balls so it wouldn’t be as heavy :)
Yes, cotton balls! I knew I was missing something obvious but it was so very late when I wrote it up! Thank You! Cotton balls would work awesome! :)
I love this! Totally going to include it in my roundup of handmade ornament for kids later in the month! I’m excited that I found your blog. My husband went to med school in St. Louis and we loved it there! I miss the food! :) Too bad we are in CO now or we could meet. When I saw all of your projects and that you were a former dancer who could quote every line of Friends I decided that we must be kindred spirits. :)
Sarah, that’s so sweet to include this in your roundup! I appreciate it! Well maybe if he every comes back to visit we can meet up! I’d love that. I am always happy to meet fellow dancing Friends lovers :) I’m going to stalk you now ;-) In a good way of course! :)
This is super cute! I like the little styrofoam balls – I haven’t seen those before!
