Shamrock Burlap Banner1

For my shamrock banner that I hung on my front door, I used the sketch feature!  {Yes, I know…I put a banner on my door and not a wreath!  I am such a rebel!}  I used some clean line shamrock shapes and then converted them to sketch designs and used the sketch pens to put them on paper.  I cut out the scallops and the green backing circles and applied to burlap pennants.  A little hot glue with some ribbon and I was set!  To show you how awesome the sketch feature is…I made this little screencast with the full tutorial!  {I hope I don’t always sound so weird in real life!}

  1. How exciting, I have wanted to upgrade to a Silhouette from my diecutter for a long time. I would love to create wall art for all of my grand children.

  2. I have so many projects I would use my Silhoutte for! The very first would be a sign for my baby boy Bentley’s nursery that says ‘You are my sunshine.’ Such an awesome giveaway!

  3. I have been wanting one of these! I will be cutting lots of great masks/backgrounds and titles for my layouts if I win!

  4. I would make some framed art for my walls. I have wanted a silhouette for a long time, I hope I can win this time. Thank you so much for sponsoring. I love seeing all your fantastic ideas.

  5. oooh…..let’s see, there’s labels for the kids’ rooms and kitchen, a stencil to use on my dresser, a few craft room goodies, and party decorations for my youngest daughter’s upcoming birthday…so many ideas flowing. :-)

  6. I would love to make banners to use for my photos of my grand daughters in the outfits I make. I could think of all sorts of neat things to make,

  8. so many ideas… i’m in the process of (slowly) redoing my living room and I’d love to put a quote on the wall above the tv, it’s kiddie-cornered and the area above it looks weird… that would look really cool! thanks for this awesome giveaway!!

  9. You rock for giving the opotunity to win a Silhoette Portrait along with all of your inspirational posts!

Winning this would certainly get my new adventure off the ground!

Good luck to all who enter!

  10. I would make a card that says; This card was made using YOUR new Silhouette Portrait machine & give it to my daughters BFF. She loves to come over & use my Cricut machines all the time so this would be GREAT for her. Besides, she doesn’t have a lot of $$ right now so buying cartridges is not do-able at this time, so the ability to purch just the cuts she needs, when she needs them is a much better way for her. This would make my heart feel so good to be able to give her one of these machines! Thanks for the opportunity to win one.

  11. I have been wanting a Silhouette forever!!! I’ve seen so many cute ideas and want to make them all. Thanks for the give-a-way.

  12. There are so many possibilities, but I would love to make banners for the holiday’s and cute wall hangings. The transfer paper sounds great too. Really liking that sketch feature.

  13. I think I would like to make some “Peeps” tee shirts using the heat transfer material. Thanks for a chance to win.

  14. I would make monogram stencils to frost my wine glasses and I would finish up a decoupage project I’ve been working on forever because it’s taken so long to cut out all the paper petals!

  15. YOur shamrock banner is what i’d make first. I actually spent the evening looking for one to make but saddly don’t have a silhouette. You could change that!

  16. The first thing I would make would be a card with super intricate, tiny flourishes because I have seen this machine do that and it is amazing. My current (other brand) of machine is hugely disappointing where tiny is concerned :)

  17. I would love a Silhouette!! It would be so much fun creating and crafting — not to mention a little business booster!!!

  25. I’ve been wanting to make a really big banner for my business so I would probably make that first. What a great opportunity, thanks for the chance to win!

  30. I am dying to have one of these machines. I have a small cricut but I hear through the grapevine that this is a better machine all around. I am getting ready to make a craft room for myself in an empty room in our home. Please please please…..let me win! LOL

  31. I would love to make some cute onesies for our baby girl due this June! She’s our first addition to our little family and I could use a Silhouette for nursery decor, part planning and scrapbooking! So many things I’d love to do! Thanks for hosting! :)

  32. Oh goodness, I don’t even know. I just heard about this silhouette thing recently, so I’d get some ideas on pinterest!
