Take a beloved, charm filled cereal, and turn it into handheld, delicious treat bars! Perfect for St. Patrick's Day parties or for the marshmallow lover!
Spray a 9x13 pan with nonstick spray and set aside.
In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
Once the butter has melted, stir in marshmallows.
Continue heating, stirring frequently, until marshmallows are melted.
Remove from the heat and slowly pour in the cereal, mixing everything together well so all of the cereal is coated in the marshmallow mixture.
Pour the mixture unto your prepared pan and use a piece of wax or parchment paper over top to press the mixture into the pan. **The wrapper from the stick of butter works great here too!
Allow the treats to set for about an hour, and cut into 15 squares.
Notes
*For thinner treats, press the mixture into a jelly roll pan or another larger size.
