First of all, this was the easiest appetizer I have ever made! I had most of the ingredients already in my kitchen. I boiled my trimmed asparagus for 7 min and I think it made the tart easier to slice, I made the tart first with goat cheese and a little cheddar. I had really yummy olive oil and cracked pepper and fresh Parmesan too. It was delish, I made it again with the gruyere and instead of prosciutto, I used tiny cut up pieces of left over Easter Ham. It was a hit! Every one wanted the recipe. It takes about 10 minutes to make. It is healthy, and so pretty with the horizontal asparagus set off my the random shreds of the cheese. Be generous with the olive oil, salt and pepper. SO YUMMY!
