I don’t have a onsie to measure so about how much space should i have between the 2 knots in the ribbon. Thanks so much for sharing how to make these. I’m just starting out in baby portrait photography and this will save me tons of money if I make them myself.

In reply to susan. Susan, you can pull the tulle strips in opposite directions to get the layered look. Making the top layer a bit shorter. Once it is wrapped around them it really fills out!

Awesome tutorial…super easy! I’ve been searching for one to purchase online for awhile now, and with tulle on sale at hobby lobby for 99¢ a yard you just saved me a fortune:). I would advise purchasing a little over a yard…I was a bit short and had to make a return trip….(that’s the kind of standard advice your mom gives you when buying fabric, but of course I didn’t even think about it) oh well…tutu is BEAUTIFUL! Thanks!
