Hi Janet, how thick is your cutting board? If your board is too thick, you will need to remove the base plate in the work area, use the risers to lift the machine and then select “open plane” vs “Laser Flat”. You should then be able to engrave.

When I click auto-measure I get a pop up window that say “material exceeds the thickness limit and cannot be processed.” What do I do when I have this happen?
