Hi Jessica! My window is just shy of 59″ (58 and 3/4-ish) And I used two full 54″ panels. They work great because you lose some width as they weave back and forth along the curtain rod!

Denise, I did not prewash my fabric. Probably not a bad idea, I was just very pregnant and lazy, lol!
