I’m so glad to have found this, and you’ve done a fantastic job of explaining the WHY’s. We should all be aware of what we’re putting on our skins. Some ingredients, as in most sun protection and tanning lotions actually are detrimental to your bones!! So this is going to be my next go-to for my eye makeup removal instead of the cosmetic shelf in the store. THANK YOU!

In reply to Jessica. Jessica as long as the jar is clean, they keep forever! I made a big jar of them for myself and I have never had a problem with them! Also they don't have to be soaked in oil. You don't actually want your eyes all full of oil for the night/day so my trick is to keep the jar upright for a few days, and then turn it upside down for a few days. The oil then makes its way perfectly to all the cotton pads!

I want to make these for my sister but she only ever stops home once in awhile. Do you normally make them for the week or do you think I could use a bigger mason jar and just add more oil to it?
