Happy Thursday everyone! Can you even believe that Thanksgiving is only ONE week from today!? How did it sneak up so fast this year. Don’t worry though, you still have plenty of time to make yourself some cute little turkey place cards to adorn your Thanksgiving Day table! Let me show you how!
Supplies Needed:
- Flower Feathers from my Turkey Napkin Ring Post
- Small thin wire (I used jewelry wire)
- Cork
- Cardstock/scissors or a cutting machine like a Cameo!
- glue
- hot glue/glue gun
I start out by cutting a short length of wire. 6 inches or so and I just used some small pliers to basically wind it around itself. Don’t do a corkscrew type of swirl…keep it flat like a paper clip.
Next I hot glued the feathers to the back of the cork and stuck in the wire spiral.
Using my Cameo I cut up some cute little place cards. You can certainly just cut some rectangles from cardstock as well. I glued the dark brown behind the cream with scrapbooking glue. Write on your name and stick in the spiral.
Mine stood up just fine as is, but if yours are too top heavy, simply glue a penny to the bottom of the cork! ;-) {I am full of solutions today!}
If you are wishing you had a Silhouette Cameo but you don’t…then you *might* want to be sure you are here for tomorrow’s post…there may or may not be a chance for you to enter to win one!
