When I started this blog it was right after we moved from Minnesota to Joplin, MO and I knew no one. I had just become a stay at home mom and thought if I didn’t start releasing some creativity that I had stored up all my years of working as an engineer, I would explode. I never imagined that so many awesome people like yourselves would actually read my blog! I mean…I figured my cousin Missy would because she reads everything I post and of course Merrsidotes would read because, well, she has nothing better to do during the day at work and she is ALWAYS reading something. So two. Two people I figured would read my blog! You can imagine at how excited I am to know that much more than two people join me each post! You sure do know how to make a girl feel loved! 
I have a super duper week planned with some awesome giveaways! There will be giveaways each day, more than once a day, so be sure to sign up for my RSS or Email Subscription so that you don’t miss a single post! Believe me, you won’t want to miss out!
Before we get to the giveaways I thought it would be fun to talk some numbers…I mean I AM and engineer and all.
Since my first post on April 26, 2011:
191 is the number of posts
1,642 is the number of comments
63 is the number of tutorials posted
15 is the number of free printables I made
365 is the number of times I have had to explain what blogging is to my husband
28 is the number of times I have had to explain to Michael why I am taking a picture of our dinner plate!
31 is the number of Washi Tape Rolls I have
17 is the number of projects started…but not finished
1658 is the number of project ideas floating through my head
1095 is the number of hours I have spent trying to learn HTML/CSS crap
During this week I am going to post a FAQ post. I get so many wonderful inquisitive emails from you all and I am so smitten that you want to get to know me more. I reply to the individual email but thought maybe someone else was curious about the same thing! I am nosey curious too so I just assume others are as well!
